1. About the Service
DDUN Properties is an online marketplace that connects rental property owners, PG operators and tenants in Uttarakhand. We host listings and enable contact between parties. We are not a party to any rental agreement, do not broker transactions, and do not own or manage the properties listed.
2. Host Accounts
- You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Accounts are limited to people 18 years or older.
3. Listings
- You may only list properties you own or are authorised to advertise for rent.
- Listings must be accurate — rent, deposit, notice period, amenities, photos and availability included.
- Photos must show the actual property; stock or misleading images are not allowed.
- Every listing is reviewed by our team after you post it, before it goes live on the platform.
- We reserve the right to edit, reject, unpublish or permanently delete any listing — with or without cause — without any prior notice to the user.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not post false, offensive, discriminatory or unlawful content.
- Do not use the platform to advertise services other than genuine property rentals.
- Do not scrape, copy or resell listing data, or attempt to interfere with the website's operation.
- Do not contact hosts for spam, phishing or any purpose other than genuine rental enquiries.
5. No Verification of Transactions
Contact between tenants and hosts happens directly (for example via WhatsApp or phone). We do not verify identities, inspect properties, handle payments, or mediate disputes. Both parties should independently verify details, documents and property condition before entering any agreement.
6. Intellectual Property
The website, its design, text and graphics belong to DDUN Properties. By submitting a listing you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display its content on the platform. You confirm you hold the rights to the photos and text you upload.
7. Third-Party Links
Listing pages link to WhatsApp and other third-party services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimer
The service is provided on an "as is" basis. While we aim to keep listings current, we make no warranty that listings, availability or pricing are accurate, complete or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DDUN Properties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or any loss arising from reliance on listing content or from agreements made between users of the platform.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
